A beautiful day in the sun with 5 sperm whales, 1 minke whale, 12 icebergs, bald eagles, puffins, guillemots and murres. We have identified on of the sperm whales as an old friend Cook, who we last saw in 2013. We also have identified a new whale to the group. In keeping with our explorer theme we have named him Burton. He is named after Sir Richard Francis Burton, the great British explorer. During his time in Africa, Somali warlords impaled his face with a spear, which left a nasty scar. Burton has a pretty big scar on his back so we thought it was a fitting name.
